Our family run business was established in August 1983 post our founder Brian Camp’s extensive service years Spent in the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm. Having been fully trained in an aeronautical engineering trainingprogram including, Fitting , turning, sheet metalwork principles and applications. It was not long after that Brian’s 18 year old son Steve joined the firm having served his craft apprenticeship at a local metal fabrication company – The team was formed to move on to a from the successful company Jackson & Kelly are today.
The company currently employs 5 Fully trained Sheet metal workers with a healthy turnover of repeat business from a well established client base across the UK. With clients from Catering Kitchen companies , restaurant food chains, and construction compares as well as individual organizations such as Schools , colleges and Local authorities the company sustains a healthy broad client base with consistent repeat established contracts due to the quality of the products supplied.
The factory facility in Braintree Essex is a fully kitted out Sheet metal work company with press breaks , guillotines , punches which are complemented with welding facilities in both Mig and Tig. In addition to compliment the metal factory facility the company also has a fully functioning wood working facility including a high specification Martins table saw and wood Press. In summary our complete one-stop-shop factory facility allows the efficient completion of our customers’ fabrication projects. Bending, sheering, cutting, guillotining and welding equipment allows us to manufacture both one-off bespoke jobs and large scale batch production jobs too.
The aim of our company is to support our customers with their requirements for Sheet metal work stainless steel fabrications following and agreeing designs to either hand sketches ,details pen drawings or supplied AutoCAD drawings. Predominantly working in the Stainless Steel catering industry Our goal is to continue to raise standards & products throughout our industry & beyond.
